Middle school students from around the state will participate in the Junior Solar Sprint competitions on Saturday, May 22 sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The competitions give students the opportunity to show their engineering and design skills by building and racing high-performance model solar vehicles.
