Engineers designate test site for wave energy
After an extensive two-year outreach effort to glean input from community members, fishermen, wave energy technology developers, and scientists, Oregon State University (OSU) engineers have identified a final site for a floating berth about two miles northwest of Yaquina Head designed to test various wave energy buoys and devices.
